Sterling C. Robertson Dam Rehabilitation

Located at Lake Limestone, Texas, the Sterling C. Robertson Dam project involved the rehabilitation and upgrade of critical gate and hoist infrastructure.

The project included design review and replacement of five Tainter gates, along with redesigned hoist systems to address existing system failures. New automated controls, gearboxes, and motors were incorporated into the upgraded systems. Construction required floating platforms and 250-ton cranes for remote access and also included approximately 2,750 linear feet of epoxy injection crack repairs.
